Witches

The moon was on the wane when they were discovered. In the fens Up-left. Bodies, whole and perfectly preserved. An army of witches floated up to the surface of the bog water. They’d been dead for hundreds of thousands of cycles, perfectly embalmed in the peat moss. No one knows why they floated up that way, but we take it as a sign. The planet’s on the move.
