Mina is a rogue dreamer born into the Night Mare's world, a place where human females are 3/5 human, traded like cattle and licensed as domestic pets. Mina learns that in order to survive the Night Mare's Blinkin, she has to change it.
It's a cautionary tale, and it's a good one.
book 2 continues the journey into the land of Disbelief, a dimension the Night Mare created to house all beliefs other than her own.
